Since I began teaching Spinning classes earlier this month I haven’t talked much about it on the blog! So I thought I would talk a bit (randomly) about my experiences so far.
Just because I’ve taught a few weeks worth of classes doesn’t mean I don’t get nervous to be in front of a bunch of people.
It’s fun to play music and see people’s faces light up when they love a song.
Hearing that I taught a good class makes my day.
I always get scared the sound system won’t work.
I feel tired a lot but I am really enjoying my job.
I hope I get more classes in the summer!
I love seeing people I know take my class. (Hi mom. I like to make you sweat–it’s payback for making me clean the kitchen!)
I’m always afraid I will injure myself either teaching or running, and then I won’t be able to do either.
It still feels weird to have people look at me for direction.
I feel like I don’t look like a Spinning instructor.
I love helping people and answering questions.

you look like a spin instructor!
You look like an awesome spin instructor! π You guys have way cooler bikes than my gym. Haha. I’m glad you enjoy teaching!
Your fears are totally normal! My favorite part is the rush after teaching a great class – then I listen to that playlist again during my next run and it really gets my adrenaline going! I’m so happy for you π
I love that first picture haha it looks so intimidating! I bet you’re such a fabulous instructor, I wish I could teleport up there the take a class! π
I bet you are an AWESOME spin instructor! I wish I were ever home to take your class π I have a feeling I would like your song choices!
I love your picture! I bet you’re a great instructor too. Gotta remember that instructors come in all shapes and sizes (I know you’re super small like me, haha). At my gym, we had a lady who was pregnant and still teaching and we also have older people, younger people, big, small, etc. It really drives it home that working out is good for everyone of all sizes and situations :). Love the pic of you on the bike too!
I bet you are great! I’d love to take your class!
I used to feel the same way when I first started teaching classes-I was like uhh who me? You want me to give you advice? Excuse me…but I got used to it eventually. Glad yo are enjoying it!
how fun! it will get easier and easier! I love being a coach! it is so rewarding! π
You go, girl! I am still so impressed that you teach spin classes! π
I bet you’re doing a GREAT job!
I think you look like an instructor!
