Talking fashion here is totally new to me. Why? Fashion and style isn’t very important to me, but modesty sure is. Modesty is as much about my heart as it is about what I wear. Basically, what I wear shouldn’t detract from my goal to share Christ. To me, that means I don’t dress over-the-top to attract attention only to my body (my soul, personality, and spirit are way more important!), and I try to keep a neat appearance that shows I care about the body God has blessed me with. 

It’s definitely a balancing act between trying to look put together on the outside, but not neglecting the inside–my heart. I’m definitely not perfect at it, but I try my best each day. Summer seems to be the most challenging time of year for me to find outfits that keep me cool but aren’t too revealing.
