The kids and I walked to our local park and saw not one but two cats on the playground. Oh my word was Sadie excited. She played with those cats for a good 30 minutes and Mordecai had a blast petting them as well.

The one cat looked pregnant to me and I mentioned it to Sadie. A few minutes later, Sadie asked to FaceTime Jimmy and she burst out saying “Dad! You won’t believe this! There’s two cats at the park and one is pregnant!” haha. She wanted to take that cat home so badly! I have a feeling we will be frequenting this particular park often now 😜

The birth center where I had Sadie and Mordecai emailed me a couple of weeks ago and asked if I would be open to doing a video interview about my experience giving birth there for a digital marketing campaign they’re working on. I was on board so the kids and I made a quick trip to The Midwife Center this week to share my experience with pregnancy, out-of-hospital birth, and breastfeeding!

I loved showing the kids the place where they were born. Being in the birth center brought back so many memories of pregnancy and birth from the past few years. It’s a special place for us ❤️

Jimmy’s birthday is this weekend so I called him off work (he’s a co-owner with his sister and dad so this was feasible for me to do lol) today so we could have a day date! My parents watched the kids (thank you mom and dad!) and Jimmy and I went on a trail bike/run (he biked, I ran). Afterwards, we went to lunch at First Watch.

We also went to a lumber store and a garden store to look around. Now we’re on the way home. I’m going to make cupcakes for my niece’s birthday and then we’re going to go mini golfing. Can’t wait!!
