How was your weekend? I left off my last post on Sunday morning and ended up taking all sorts of pictures after I hit publish on that post. Soo, here are some pictures from our day 😊
See Jimmy’s shirt? A bunch of the women in our church pulled a prank on the men in our lives. We all collaborated and told our husbands/brothers/sons etc. that we got them a new shirt for Sunday.
None of them knew that nearly every other guy got the same shirt. Imagine their surprise when they all walked into church looking exactly alike 😂
I’m still laughing thinking about it. I can’t believe we pulled it off. I’m pretty sure the men will be finding a way to prank us women asap 😆
Backing up to early that morning, we had a leisurely breakfast of bunny-shaped pancakes, bacon, sausage, and fruit.
Jimmy and Sadie worked on a Lego set. It was this one… with Sadie’s favorite animal, axolotls!
We got the kids ready for church and then Jimmy and I frantically got ready 😜
Mordecai wore the outfit I got him in this post and it was adorable! Sadie sported a new dress from my mom. Thanks, mom!!
She is looking so grown up lately. It’s killing me!
This little guy fell off of our kitchen table after I took these pictures. He got a nice little bruise from that. There has been such a difference for us between having a boy and a girl. When Sadie was this age, I think she got a bruise on her head once?! He gets one like once a day 😳
After church, we hung out at home for the day and it was so nice to just relax and play! Sadie and I worked on a scrapbook and Mordecai played with Legos.
The weather was nice (60s!), so we walked to the park and played a bit before dinner.
We had leftovers from the night before (leftovers are the best… I love not having to think about what to cook!) and went in the hot tub to relax before bedtime.
The kids got dressed in their jammies (they love matching and it melts my heart) and then it was off to bed!

The kids are just too dang cute! Love the Sunday church clothes!
The Operation Church Shirt was a hit! Nice job by the ladies pulling that off!
Love ❤️ You!
Dad
🙂
Aww thank you! It’s so much fun to dress them!
The church shirt prank was the best! Hopefully you guys don’t prank us back, LOL!
Love you and I hope you feel better asap!
Okay, that little prank is SO funny, and now I want to do it to the guys at my church. HA!!! I may need to make this happen. 😉 Loving all the Easter pics and the bright, cheerful colors. It’s cold here in New England, and we just got more snow. So I’m loving the hope that spring is definitely coming, even if it’s taking awhile. Ha, ha!
You should seriously get the ladies at your church to try it! It’s so funny!!
I hope you guys get some warm weather this week!! Are you in the path of the Eclipse?!
Hi Allie, I’m so sorry it took me this long to reply! YES, we were in the path of the Eclipse, and we got to see it. It was SO amazing!!!
I’m DYINNNGGG at that photo of the men. I love, love, love this prank, but have never seen it done by someone I “know.” You all did so well pulling it off, there are so many of them. 🤣🤣🤣
This sounds like a wonderful Easter Sunday!
I seriously can’t believe we made it happen!! They were all clueless and it made it even better hahaha. It was a great day 😬
THE PRANK WAS HILARIOUS!!! They were all clueless!
I love all the pics of the kids – especially in their Easter outfits! So sweet. The one in their pj’s with Sadie sucking her thumb is cracking me up… she looks so serious.
Love you!!
Madre
I could not stop laughing! I loved how clueless they were. So fun!
Thanks for the beautiful dress for Sadie! And her sucking her thumb… LOL.
Love you! I hope you feel better soon!
