Who Knew, A Taste of Spring, and Dressing Up

When I decided to put St. Patrick’s Day chocolate covered Oreos in my Etsy shop, I wasn’t sure how they would do. I wondered if people celebrated St. Patrick’s Day. They definitely do. Who knew!

I’ve made so many chocolate covered Oreos in the past couple of weeks and have been loving every minute of it. Should I buy stock in Oreos? Maybe 😜

We’ve been having a taste of spring weather here in Pittsburgh the past few days and it has been glorious. To be able to eat dinner outside again, play with the kids in the yard without coats on, and see the sun shining is balm for my soul.

I was able to do some training outside with Niva. It felt wonderful! We’re going to keep working with a trainer 1:1 to develop more skills. Can’t wait. I definitely feel like I’m in my zone lately with Etsy, training Niva, and doing therapy work. God is good. It’s such a huge blessing to be doing things I’m passionate about and enjoy 🖤

Speaking of miss Niva, I ordered her some bandanas to wear when we go on therapy visits and she looked so cute all dressed up!

Sadie and I also got dressed up because our new dresses came in the mail! Remember when Jimmy got us matching dresses for Valentine’s Day and Sadie looked adorable and I did not? Here’s a photo of the dresses we returned…

And here’s the dresses we exchanged them for. Sadie actually picked them out!

Sadie and I did her schoolwork outside one day this week. We ran around the yard in between each lesson and she loved that.

Today was a rainy day, but it was still in the 50s! I am curious if the spring weather will be here to stay or if we will get more snow in the coming month or two. Time will tell!

Well, I am off. Probably to dip more Oreos in chocolate 😬 I will leave you with a picture of Mordecai being cute.

Do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?

  1. Niva looks cute with her bandanna!

Those cookies are so good and they look awesome!

I can see Sadie loving doing school work outside and playing in between lessons, what a great idea! You two look adorable in those dresses! And of course Mordecai is so cute!

    Love ❤️ You!

    🙂

  2. Ni is doing so great with her training, and making so many people happy (including her mama 😃). I don’t really celebrate St Patrick’s Day, although dad and I are doing a little 5k in the Outer Banks called the Running if the Leprechauns- and it’s totally St Patty’s themed. Hoping the weather in the Burgh continues to be so nice! It really has been a great start to pre-spring!
I know the kids are so happy to be outside, as are we as adults!!
    love you,

    madre
