Happy due date to us! This morning I told Jimmy that I’m a slow cooker for our babies. No Instant Pot for me… low and slow over here 😂

I have my 40 week appointment later today, so we’ll see how that goes. I’m at Sadie’s speech therapy as I type up this post. I’ve been cherishing these last days with just my sweet girl! Lots of snuggling and playtime (I think we play Zingo at least twice a day and kinetic sand has been fun, too) happening over here.

I’m definitely at the point where people are coming out of the woodwork to text me and “check in” aka ask if I’ve had the baby or if there are any updates. I’m about ready to google how to set up an auto respond text that says “If you get this message, I haven’t had the baby. You will know when he arrives. Please keep praying for us!” LOL.

I know the checking in comes from a good place and a place of excitement, but after going to 41 weeks with Sadie, I know to never bug other moms who go past their due date 😉

I got one more baking order yesterday–our mailman asked for a batch of gluten free brownies and I couldn’t say no. It felt good to be baking!

Overall, I am feeling good and very, very thankful to have made it to 40 weeks 🖤
