Our 0-3 Month Baby Essentials (Plus What Sadie Didn’t Like)

Now that Sadie is over four months old, I want to share our favorite (and Sadie’s least favorite, lol) things from her first three months of life!

For being so little, babies sure do have a lot of gear, so I’m going to organize this post into categories. Also, just because we liked/didn’t like some of these items, doesn’t mean they aren’t a great fit for other families.

I just want to share our honest opinions and experiences to hopefully help others or give some ideas! If you’re not into baby stuff, feel free to skip this post. You won’t hurt my feelings 😉 If you have any questions, leave them in the comments or send me an email!

If you have/have had babies, what were your/your baby’s favorite and least favorite things from the first three months?

  1. such a great post!!! I’m sure you will help many expectant mom’s out there!!
Sadie certainly does love attention, and shopping :)))

  2. Friends of ours are having a baby girl in May so I’m totally keeping this list in mind for books and clothes as a baby gift. Thanks for sharing Allie!

  3. I love this post! I was just looking back on my list of favorite things from our first 6 months earlier today and it’s so fun to think back to that stage. Plus I refer back to my list any time a new mom asks for advice on something so this will be really helpful for that as well. Hard to believe Sadie girl is 4 months already!

  4. She is soooooo CUTE!!! What a great list to help other moms with their purchases and shopping. You’re right, babies need SO much stuff!
(My kids were very similar in the dislikes, which I found interesting. Maybe our kids just have great taste? Or specific taste… HA! But my kiddos didn’t like many of the same things that your baby girl didn’t). 🙂

    1. Thank you so much, Nicole!! I hope this lists helps at least one person! We’ve definitely learned really quickly what works/doesn’t and what Sadie likes/doesn’t like!!

  5. This was fun to see all the products you are using with little Sadie! I knew you had to get a lot of new things for a baby- but this really brings to light just how much! Wow! Thank goodness for showers, right?! Haha. Have a great rest of the week, Allie!
