Happy New Year! Last year was a big, life changing year for us; we welcomed our sweet Sadie Mae! I’m excited to see what God has in store for 2019.
Current book Just started this, which is a TV series as well. I’m sure Jimmy would looove to watch it with me 😉
Current goal To find some sort of routine with work. Because I work from home and have Sadie with me all day, I fit in bits and pieces of work throughout the day, but I’d love to figure out a way to get some solid back-to-back hours in.
Current cuteness Hannah’s bump! She’s 21 weeks with baby Caroline!
Current food Pork chops. Jimmy and I grilled two types of pork chops using hickory wood chips and a smoker box for dinner the other night and they were great!
Current beauty product I recently picked up this mist and it’s lovely.
Current joy Seeing my family with Sadie. My dad came over and hung out with Sadie while I went to the grocery store. It was a treat for each of us in different ways. I got some alone time (and got the grocery shopping done, lol), my dad got Sadie time, and Sadie took a lovely nap on her grandpa’s chest! Win-win-win.
Current baked good Lemon raspberry thumbprint cookies. Still want to bake bread soon!
Current blessing Our church family. It’s an amazing thing to do life with the people in our church ❤
Current obsession Still going strong on matching outfits with Sadie!
Current craving I really want to go bowling and skiing this winter.
Current indulgence Just getting out. I feel so much more human-like when I make an effort to get out and do something each day. Sadie and I visited the library last week and it was so much fun!
Current need Still in need of a good haircut. I’m thinking I need to go on Pinterest to look at hairstyles because postpartum hair is tricky. Plus, Sadie now pulls my hair… maybe it’s time for a mom cut, haha.
Current laugh I tried to use our waffle iron as a panini press for a tuna sandwich. Nope. Not trying that again!
Current excitement My brother and his wife just found out they’re having a baby girl!

Current fun Topgolf! Have you heard of it? It’s a really cool driving range experience and one of the chains recently opened in Pittsburgh. Jimmy, Sadie, and I went one Saturday morning and had such a great time. We also had my family go on New Year’s Day and they loved it as well. You can see my amazing (LOL) golf skills in the vlog below.

That sandwich looks like something I’d do if I tried that. Everything I’ve tried from Pinterest turned out to be a fail!
As far as working with Sadie, I have no clue! I too work from home but I am child-free. Obviously you can work during nap times or maybe you and Jimmy can work something out where you have a few hours to work after he is off and Sadie has daddy time? Then you could save work items that don’t have to be done from 9-5 for that period, at least until she’s old enough for a Mother’s Morning Out type program.
I’m glad I’m not the only one! I had such high hopes for that sandwich, LOL.
I like your idea of having Jimmy watch Sadie after he gets off work! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that sooner, haha!
ALL GIRLS! Oh my goodness, three girl cousins all so close in age! That just sounds like such a treat for your family. Especially since the girls will get to see each other so much growing up. They are going to be like sisters. I just love it. ❤

Glad you two had fun at Top Golf. You missing the ball made me laugh only because I HAVE BEEN THERE! The first time I went to a driving range I think it took me 5 tries before I actually HIT the ball, haha! There's a lot more hand-eye coordination to it than I expected.

I can’t even begin to describe my excitement for these girls! It truly is such a treat and blessing! I am so glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t have super amazing golf skills, haha! It really is harder than it looks to drive golf balls!
Those giggles are just my favorite! I thought my favorite noise was hearing her heart beating during pregnancy, but her giggles just may top that!

I LOVE books that are turned into TV series or movies, so I’ll have to look into this!! Aww Hannah is adorable!! That olay mist looks wonderful & got such great reviews too. I need to add something to my skin care routine, and this is actually reasonably priced!! Awww Sadie is SO loved!! My mom raved about her love for raspberry thumbprint cookies at Christmas and after trying them I see why! YUM! I have never been to Topgolf, but a lot of my friends talk about it- I need to try it out soon! Thanks for sharing, Allie 🙂

YES to skincare stuff that is reasonably priced. Ain’t nobody got the money (or at least I don’t, haha) for overpriced/expensive skincare products!

lol- definitely depends on the day! If I’m not feeling stressed about school then I like absorbing extra medical references and stuff, but if something is hanging over my head then I have to avoid all medical tv shows & stuff. but i’m sure I would enjoy it!!
