Interval workout and sister

I can’t believe how fast this week has gone by. Wow. Only a week of classes and a few finals until Christmas break, but I’m not going to wish time away. I’m going to enjoy the last week of learning and pretend to enjoy cramming for finals.

Maybe this week went by so quickly because I was really busy again with school stuff and adjusting to the temperature drop in Pittsburgh? It was like 60 degrees on Monday and 29 degrees on Thursday.

Needless to say, I didn’t run outside. I spent some time with my friend the dreadmill. I also went to a spin class, did P90X on Monday (STILL sore… ow), and swam. Working out relieves a lot of stress-I read that on a sign in the girls bathroom on campus. Just thought I’d share… 🙂

I’d have to say my favorite workout this week was an interval run on the dreadmill. I hadn’t done speed work since cross country camp at Seton Hill. I needed to push myself a little bit! From my Daily Mile:

This weekend I’m not 100% sure what I’m doing besides going to an ornament exchange with my momma on Saturday at our church. I’ve never been to one, but we have to each bring a Christmas ornament and I suppose we somehow exchange them with the other people that come. I’m excited!

Before I peace out, I thought I’d share 2 pictures of me and Hannah taken on Monday night.

No one believes we are 6 years apart. Ugh. :p

I’m on the left and Hannah is on the right.

I love her. Even if she outgrows me in height in a few months.

Have a great weekend!

  1. You guys are both so cute, but you DEFINITELY look older. It’s wonderful that you have such a great relationship. Have fun at the ornament exchange!

  2. I did some intervals the other day and really liked it. It’s a nice way to break things up on the treadmill and good for your legs to go different speeds to get used to them :).

I think you look older than your sister, but you don’t really look 6 years older than her. As for being passed in height, I’m barely 5’0″ and have a small body type kinda like yours, so I look a lot younger than I am too… I went to lunch at the mall one day during work and got asked if the local high school had a half day hahaha. And I was 25 at the time!

  3. Awww you guys are too precious! I love my sister too…even though she’s taller than me and grew faster! You guys seem like you are really close!:)

I actually got some sick joy out of studying for finals when I was in college. I hated it at the time but I loved being organized and really learning as much as I could. The best part was when I actually “got” things and they clicked in my head. I had to many “AHA!” moments in the library! 🙂
