I’m alive

It’s true. I’m still alive. I just haven’t blogged in a few days because I’ve been busy having fun!

Summer has officially started for me. My Spanish final was on Thursday and it was tough. It was 145 questions and took me 1.5 hours. I was exhausted and brain dead after taking it. I got an 85% though, so I’m happy.

This past weekend was amazing and just plain fun. I didn’t turn on my computer or stress about anything and it felt so good.

On Friday I swam for a little in the morning, got my eyes checked (20/20 vision, yay!), picked Hannah up from school, went out to eat with my family, and got to see my best friend for a little bit at the mall.

Saturday can be summed up in pictures:I worked at Jimmy’s family’s shop from 7am-12pm. We had to run to Home Depot and I saw a little cactus so Jimmy bought it for me. We also went on a trail run together (well.. Jimmy biked and I ran) and saw a snake. Fun stuff!

Saturday was also spent playing with street bikes, Rzr’s, and riding in Mustangs. I guess it was a vehicle binge kind of day?

On Sunday I went to church, grilled out with my family, took Lola on a trail walk, and washed my truck.

Today is my day off of work but this is my work schedule for the week:

  • Monday: off!
  • Tuesday: Teach spinning @ 6:15
  • Wednesday: teach spinning @ 4:30 and 7:15
  • Thursday: teach spinning @ 6:15
  • Friday off!

Not too shabby! Well, this post is long enough and I have a few errands to run today so I better get going.

Have a great day!

Insta life

Instagram is a free photo sharing application that allows users to take a photo, apply a digital filter, then share it in a variety of social networking services.

I thought I’d post a few pictures of my life lately from my Instagram account. Since the weather has been fairly warm in Pittsburgh (for February), I’ve been more into taking pictures outdoors because my fingers don’t get cold!

The sunrise on Wednesday February 22nd, 2012. I took this after a morning run.

This was taken around 4:00pm on Tuesday. It was raining on and off. The clouds looked pretty sweet to me. The people in the car next to me were looking at me so strangely because I was taking a picture of the sky!

This is Eddie, my family’s dog. I have no clue why he was sitting with his arms out, but it made me smile. So I took a picture in color and then edited it to be in black and white too. I liked both so I put them together in Picnik.

Jimmy’s younger brother got a street bike! He decided to make an excited face I suppose?!

I took this on Wednesday morning. I couldn’t believe that the grass was green.

Pink Brooks. Sweet life. I wonder if these will last me until the marathon I plan to run in June. My wallet sure hopes they last me until June …
