Happy ten months, Dakota! I can’t believe she’s closing in on her first birthday already. Somebody slow time down, please!

Here’s what Dakota is up to at ten months old.

Growth 15 lbs 10 oz and 27 inches long.

Wearing 9 month clothes and size 2 diapers.

Personality Content, sweet, and a little serious. She loves music and will point one finger and very seriously dance with it—it’s too cute! She also sometimes growls as she babbles. 😂

Eating Mom’s milk and everything we give her. Her favorite foods are peaches and peanut butter puffs. She has also started biting occasionally when she nurses. Ouch!

Nicknames Kota, Koko, Koke, Kota Bear, and Kota B.

Sleeping Pretty well! She goes to bed around 7:00 pm and wakes up at 5:00 am. She takes two daytime naps for an hour or two.

Looks like Her big brother and mom! She has fair skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes. She has four teeth now—two on the top and two on the bottom— and her incisors are just starting to come in.

New skills Clapping, dancing, pointing, and pulling to stand. She always wiggles one leg out of her pajamas, too. I don’t know how she does it!

Likes Her siblings, music, baby dolls, eating, bath time, and moving.

Dislikes Me walking away from her and laying still for diaper changes.

Favorite products Portable diaper changing mat, bee toy, baby carrier, diaper rash spray, house toy, stain remover spray, felt flap books, and peanut butter puffs.

Notes Dakota saw an ENT for frequent ear infections and they recommended ear tube surgery. We’re undecided on going through with it at this point and praying for wisdom as we decide how to move forward.
