Cranberry Orange Granola Recipe

I’m coming at you today with a really great granola recipe! This was another staple in my Etsy shop and is a personal favorite of mine. It only has eight ingredients, most of which are probably in your kitchen right now.

As always, baking a batch of granola will make your home smell amazing and also makes a great gift! As Christmas comes up, giving someone a bag of granola might be a nice switch up from the barrage of cookies 😉

Without further ado, here’s the recipe!

Ingredients
3 cups old fashioned oats
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons orange extract
1/3 cup canola oil
1/3 cup honey
3/4 cup dried cranberries

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
2. Combine oats, walnuts, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine oil and honey. Microwave for 30 seconds and whisk in orange extract.
4. Add wet ingredients to dry and stir well, until all the dry ingredients are coated with the wet mixture.
5. Spread granola onto cookie sheets and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden-colored and fragrant.
6. Cool granola on cookie sheets for about an hour and mix dried cranberries in. Store in a sealed container for up to four months. Enjoy!
