I hope you had a very happy Thanksgiving 🙂 We don’t celebrate it in the UK, so yesterday was a normal work day for me. But I’m looking forward to Christmas in only a few weeks’ time!

It’s always so weird to think you guys don’t celebrate it in the UK! DO you do something in October, or am I thinking of Canada that does Thanksgiving in October? I am so excited for Christmas, too!!

We don’t have anything in October, unfortunately. I always think that we need an autumn festival or celebration to break up the months before Christmas and give people a day off work in October or November.
In the UK, we have several public holidays (known as ‘Bank Holidays’) during the year, but the last one is at the end of August, so there’s a long time between then and Christmas!
