So, there’s this older man named Ted who goes to my church. Guess what he’s “famous” around the church for. His baking! I think it’s the cutest thing when men, especially older ones, bake.
Ted made glazed orange cookies for my church’s vacation Bible school in June and they were a hit. I knew I had to make them for my brother’s wedding.
Ted handed over the recipe and I was intrigued. It calls for an orange, rind and all, to be pureed in a food processor.
If you enjoy anything orange flavored, you’ll love these cookies. Ted informed me that lemons (or even limes–if you like your cookies tart) can be substituted for oranges in this recipe–just make sure to remove the seeds.

That’s so cool that the older man at church bakes and was nice enough to share his recipe. Those cookies look really delicious. I bet everyone at VBS devoured them.
Wow rind and all!? ORANGEY! I loveee orange treats. These look so good.
Orange glazed anything have always been my favorite. That is adorable about the older man being able to bake.
Mmm, they sound great. I made a Spanish orange cake which called for three whole oranges, rind and all, to be boiled and then blended. It works really well. I think I’m going to have to make these cookies. They look delicious! 🙂
These sound like a recipe similar to one in my family – I had no idea the entire fruit was pureed!
These look REALLY good! My mom would love them considering orange cake is her favorite cake! It’s so cute to see an old man baking! Aww ❤
That glaze look SINFUL! 😉

So cool that the WHOLE orange is pureed! And two of them to boot! Sounds tasty! 🙂
I love that it uses the rind too. Yum yum yum!
