I wish I could truly articulate how I feel about the Boston Marathon bombings. I’ve learned that life isn’t black and white, and every situation, even the worst one, can have good come of it. I personally like to think that’s the way God created us–to look for the good in others, and to help others in any way possible.
I’ve collected some news articles that display this belief:
Boston Marathon bombing heroes: Running to help
Tradgedy in Boston: How to help
13 Examples Of People Being Awesome After The Attack On The Boston Marathon
Stories of Kindness After the Bombing
A Reminder to Be Good to Each Other

thank you for those articles, I have read most of them and really like reading them over and over to remind me of the true strength and selflessness of those around us
Thank you for sharing those articles. It’s uplifting to hear/read/see the good. Good has to trump evil.
It’s so true. With every tragedy, there’s a greater good.
Thank you for sharing, Allie. If you haven’t already read Patton Oswalt’s words, you might find them comforting: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/patton-oswalt/patton-oswalt_b_3088337.html
I’m excited to see how God brings everyone together after this tragedy! He works in mysterious ways!
These articles have all brought such joy to me. Thanks Allie and I agree completely.
That is such a great verse from Psalm 121, I am so glad that you shared it!
Thank you for sharing these articles. It’s so difficult to find the good in such a horrible situation, but you are right; it is there. All of the heroes who came forward to help the victims of this tradgedy remind us that there are some truly wonderful and amazing people out there.
So good to focus on the positive. It’s amazing how good things can come out of even the darkest moments.
It’s so important to stay positive, especially if things are out of our control. Thanks for sharing 🙂
