Hannah had her very first school dance on Friday night! It was so much fun to help her get ready for the dance and take her pictures. She got her hair curled, I painted her nails and toenails, and she did her makeup. Hannah and her date looked lovely and she told me they had a great time.

On Saturday, Jimmy and I went to Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in downtown Pittsburgh. We had a blast walking around all of the colorful flowers. I loved taking pictures of everything there. Here are a few of my favorite pictures:

Race Distance: 3.1 miles
Location: Keystone State Park

Air Temperature: 59*-60* + windy
Water Temperature: 70’s Water conditions: Choppy Place: 3rd in age group & 14th overall Other Notes: This was a fun race! When I swam this race last year I actually got sun burnt, so I didn’t expect it to be so chilly this year. The water conditions were tougher this time around too but I like a good challenge! The race benefited the Heart Institute at Children’s Hospital of UPMC and all of the participants combined raised more than $8,000! I am so happy that I participated in such a special event :).
