We have seen so much change with Mordecai in the past month! Mainly, he is much more mobile, is eating soft table food, and has a couple more teeth coming in. Here’s how he’s living his best baby life at nine months.

Growth 18 lbs 6.5 oz (17%), 27 in (12%), and 47 cm head circumference (91%).

Wearing 12 and 18 month clothes and size four diapers.

Eating Mom’s milk, purees, puffs, yogurt melts, rice rusks, and some soft table foods like steamed carrots, mashed potatoes, and pasta rings in sauce.

Personality Mordecai is so sweet, sensitive, and happy!

Nicknames Decky and Deck.

Sleeping The same as usual… up a few times in the night to eat and taking 2-3 naps a day.

Looks Like Yours truly 😇

New Skills Crawling! He does a little inch worm crawl and his favorite thing to go after is the vacuum cleaner.

Likes Being in water, Sadie, being held, food and eating, bouncing in his bouncer, and music.

Dislikes Loud noises, anyone walking away from him or leaving a room, laying still to have his diaper changed, and being startled.

Favorite Products Train, Montessori toy, pull back tractor, sign language blocks, sensory balls, diaper pail, and body wash.

Other Notes Mordecai now has three teeth! Two on the bottom and one on top. We are continually surprised that he has been chill about teething so far. He’s not standing yet and his pediatrician actually sent him for an x-ray of his hips to check for hip dysplasia but it turns out he just doesn’t want to stand haha.
