On Friday morning I taught my first Spin class! I was asked to sub the 10:00-10:45am class and it went well! I was so nervous, but I don’t think any of the people attending the class knew it was my first time.
I went hard with organizing the workout and music…
I kept my little workout guide on top of my handlebars for the whole ride. Fun stuff.
Also, I found out when I will be teaching:
Other things I did on Friday…
- Dressed like a normal person to meet up with my friend to get coffee.
- Cooked a special dinner of fish + baked potatoes + asparagus for Jimmy and I to feast upon.
Saturday consisted of..
- Baking a raspberry trifle for a church lunch
- Attending a church lunch
- Taking Lola for a walk
- Going out to dinner with Jimmy
- Going to the Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show
Weekend Pictures
I’m back to school tomorrow… oh boy!
How was your weekend?
Your first class teaching! I bet you were nervous! I would have been… I am sure you did great!
Ahh how cool! I bet you rocked it. Now whenever I think of spin, I immediately think of you haha
Sounds like your weekend was fabulous too! 🙂
Congrats on teaching your first class! I bet that’s the hardest part though, once you’ve gotten it down you won’t have a problem with the others. Plus only two nights a week is good starting out, it won’t overwhelm you with school or with it being something new. Your dessert looks really tasty too, I want some, lol!
I’m glad your first class went well! I bet you were nervous but excited!
Normal people are overrated. Glad it was fun though and glad your first class went so well!
Proud of you Allie! That must have been nerve wracking but I know you pulled it off!
allie,
I have been a silent reader on blogs lately (things are really busy at work it is cutting down on my internet time lol) but I must say that I would LOVE to take your spin class.
And for me to say that is just…laughing. I might sit on the bike at first (two minutes) but then I would just decide the floor was comfier.

But I’d stay just to watch and hear you.
Cute coffee date outfit! I love that you cook for Jimmy–such a fun activity to cook for your lovey!
Your spin class sounds like it went great! That’s so exciting that you are an instructor! 😀
Gorgeous trifle! And way to go with your first class–too exciting! And you get your own time slot and everything–can’t wait to hear how it keeps going.
Ahh congrats allie! That is SO exciting! I bet you did so great. Did you get any type of feedback form the class goers?
Looks like a really great weekend! Congrats on your first class, girl! I’m sure you rocked it. 🙂
I bet you were a fantastic instructor! Thanks for sharing your workbook workout with us too 🙂
Th trifle looks so yummy! Dinner sounds delicious too- that Jimmy is a lucky guy.
Yay yay yay for everything going well at your first class! Hope you enjoyed you coffee date! 🙂
