First class

On Friday morning I taught my first Spin class! I was asked to sub the 10:00-10:45am class and it went well! I was so nervous, but I don’t think any of the people attending the class knew it was my first time.

I went hard with organizing the workout and music…

I kept my little workout guide on top of my handlebars for the whole ride. Fun stuff.

Also, I found out when I will be teaching:

Other things I did on Friday…

  • Dressed like a normal person to meet up with my friend to get coffee.
  • Cooked a special dinner of fish + baked potatoes + asparagus for Jimmy and I to feast upon.

Saturday consisted of..

  • Baking a raspberry trifle for a church lunch
  • Attending a church lunch
  • Taking Lola for a walk
  • Going out to dinner with Jimmy
  • Going to the Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show

  1. Congrats on teaching your first class! I bet that’s the hardest part though, once you’ve gotten it down you won’t have a problem with the others. Plus only two nights a week is good starting out, it won’t overwhelm you with school or with it being something new. Your dessert looks really tasty too, I want some, lol!

  2. allie,
I have been a silent reader on blogs lately (things are really busy at work it is cutting down on my internet time lol) but I must say that I would LOVE to take your spin class.
And for me to say that is just…laughing. I might sit on the bike at first (two minutes) but then I would just decide the floor was comfier.

But I’d stay just to watch and hear you.

  3. I bet you were a fantastic instructor! Thanks for sharing your workbook workout with us too 🙂
Th trifle looks so yummy! Dinner sounds delicious too- that Jimmy is a lucky guy.
