I truly believe in making the best of every situation handed to me. If something doesn’t go my way, why not try to have fun in the different situation?!
So i’m not at SHU and i’m not running cross country but I have so many other awesome things in my life right now!
Because i’m home… I can see my favorite person more often and have Bible studies on Wednesday nights @ Starbucks together!
Because i’m home… I was able to take my little sister to the gym and hang out with her/show her the “ropes”
Because i’m home… I can participate in one of my favorite hobbies. BAKING! (Zucchini bread)
Because i’m home… (and not practicing cross country 4 hours a day) I have time to straighten my hair.
Because i’m home… (and not practicing cross country for 4 hours a day) I have time to study. On my bedroom floor.
Because i’m home… I can walk my pup!
Because i’m home… I can see my BEST FRIEND more often!
Life is all about looking at things from a different point of view 🙂

I am sorry I have been absent on all of the excitement occuring in your life! I know it’s hard to say goodbye to something you really wanted (cross country) but everything happens for a reason. You now can be at home near your family and friends, while still learning everything you need to. I believe that you were meant to go to Penn State again for a reason, although we don’t know why.
Also, it is probably for the best that you’re not running cross country. If the coach was mean to you now, I’m not sure what would have happened in the future!
