On Saturday Hannah (little sis) is having a pool party. She asked me to bake her a sun cake so I did a practice run. I don’t like it at all! At least everything tastes decent though.
Eats as of recent:
Lunch @ work = egg sandwich, corn on the cob, salad, and cool mint chocolate Cliff Bar.

I would make some sunglasses.. and a face on the sun! That is my favorite way to create suns! 🙂 I think it looks great though!

Haha loving the photo of his balanced meal. Men seem to be so crazy with food combos sometimes! And that cake is cute! I would add more rays and maybe make those rays bigger. Then use some really fun colors like red, orange, and yellow. Make it so bright it burns their eyes! Haha!

Yeah I agree with everyone about sunglasses and I think you might want to add more “sun” color like orange, red, yellow for icing? How about adding more triangles instead of 4 of them?? Sorry you know me – I don’t bake…….. Not very creative enough…You are sweet baking a cake for your lil sister! 🙂
I actually like the cake. I would just add some pineapple chunks or something like that to make it yellow and add more “rays”, maybe add some marzipan flower to it..:)

I agree with the sunglasses face on the cake. And maybe some more of the little “spikes” (don’t know what to call them LOL) for around the sun if you can? It looks great though and taste matters most. 🙂

Haven’t had Clif bars in forever, forgot they used to be such a favorite! I agree with above comments, more yellow, more spikes, something fun and goofy on top 😀
