While in Florida last week I had a predicament. Jim and I stayed with my awesome family. (My dad’s uncle, aunt, and cousin)
One thing was not awesome:
They. Don’t. Drink. Coffee.
The first day Jim and I were there I could not, for the life of me, figure out why I had a raging headache. DUUUUH. No coffee!
Jim and I were on a run in their local park in Seminole, Fl.
Any park that has palm trees and a lake makes Allie happy 🙂
Anyways, so I was running along. DYING from lack of coffee. Like I was running slow. Jim was next to me on a bike acting like I wasn’t going slower than the grandma drivers in Florida. I had already stopped running like 6 times because I wanted water or to stretch. (I promise I never do this!)
Then we found a cool reason to stop(again):
I had to save the turtle!!!!! It was in the middle of the park road and I put it back in the grass 🙂 He was a shy little guy but so adorable and now I want a turtle!
That made for an interesting run.
We treated ourselves afterwards….
Saving a turtle is hard work and requires COFFEE ! 😉

Um I die from not having at least 24 ounces of coffee everyday. My body has become immune to the caffeine content.

I think that maybe I would like running if I could run somewhere like Florida. But that’s a BIG maybe. And I’d need coffee.

We found a turtle in my backyard a while ago- which is rare because I’m in the suburbs!
Why do some people refuse to surrrender to the goodness that is coffee?
i would have died too! Where’s the nearest starbucks please?! but at least the turtle made for a good run, in the end.

i saved a turtle once! well my mom did but i spotted it and was too scared to pick it up. it was crossing the road and would surely die- yay for the turtle saving team! high five hehe ❤ mmmm THAT COFFEE DRINK LOOKS AMAAAAAZING ❤
