Saturday fun

Saturday was a busy day for me. It was also really fun!

What I was up to:

  • Woke up @ 5:30, had breakfast, & packed a lunch
  • Drove 50 minutes to the fabrication shop that Jimmy’s family owns
  • Worked (cleaned the toilets, etc.) from 7-12
  • Ran on a lovely trail for 7 miles while Jimmy rode a bike next to me
  • Showered and had dinner at Eat n Park
  • Went to the Pittsburgh International Auto Show
  • Headed home and watched 1.5 episodes of “Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry?”

Now it’s Sunday and I have church and not much else going on. Sweet!

Nutella Frosted Brownies + pictures

I hope everyone had a good weekend! I just want to make you laugh today because it is MONDAY. So here is my 7th or 8th (I can’t remember) grade school picture I found the other day. Haha.. embarassing.

I was so awkward.

Moving on. To brownies! Friday night I was in a baking mood so I decided to make homemade brownies with “The Perfect Brownie Pan” that I got my mom for Christmas last year. She used it like once haha. Good times. Melt 2 sticks of butter… add some sugar… flour.. and cocoa powder..Add some eggs and mix everything up.Put your mix in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes.Frost with Nutella and sprinkle with colored sugar.I packed them in a leftover (cleaned) food container and brought them to work with me on Saturday!

I got to wrap some railings that Jimmy made to be shipped out to customers.

Saturday also included a 12 mile trail run.

Sunday morning I was in the Church toddler room and had a blast playing with the little ones. I don’t know if I want to put any pictures up.. just for privacy reasons, you know?!

Sunday also included more homework, taking Lola for a walk, and coffee!
