Hannah’s Dance & Phipps

Hannah had her very first school dance on Friday night! It was so much fun to help her get ready for the dance and take her pictures. She got her hair curled, I painted her nails and toenails, and she did her makeup. Hannah and her date looked lovely and she told me they had a great time. HanshairSnowball

On Saturday, Jimmy and I went to Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in downtown Pittsburgh. We had a blast walking around all of the colorful flowers. I loved taking pictures of everything there. Here are a few of my favorite pictures:

What have you been up to this weekend?!

Bible verse of the day: “This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:12

Beauty

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:20

We see God’s creation everyday, he made it for us so that we are without excuse for knowing we have a God and he LOVES us :] How awesome is that?

Speaking of God’s beautiful creation… Jim and I went to Phipps Conservatory in Schenley Park. Basically is is a big greenhouse with tons of beautiful flowers!

Phipps was AWESOME and we got in for half price because I had a groupon :] YAYAY.

After we visited Phipps, Jim and I headed to Max Mex in Shady Side for lunch (I got a quesedilla + soup and he got a spicy burrito!) and because Jim pretty much built all of the steel work for the restaurant.

Guess where else we went!

Chicka chicka yeaaaaaaaa WHOLE FOODS!

What was the most beautiful thing you saw this weekend?
