Fall

Fall weekend

My weekend was very fall-ish. I loved it.

I started off the weekend by breaking into my house on Friday night. It was pretty awesome. Jimmy and I went out to dinner and my parents had left the house as well and locked the front door. When I got home, I realized that I didn’t have my house key… so I just climbed through the window and Jimmy took my picture. I typically break into my house 4-5 times a year.

On Saturday I went for an 11 mile run on some killer hills. Jimmy and I went to a pumpkin patch/farmer’s market and he carved a punpkin while I (sadly) did homework. Jimmy carved the word “Minecraft” into his pumpkin. It’s a video game. I just laugh at him sometimes. We roasted pumpkin seeds with Old Bay seasoning. I really want to roast them with cinnamon and sugar next time!

Sunday was spent at church and running a 5k. Sunday was also 47* and rainy.Hannah and I at church.

To not make this post drag on forever (and because I have to leave for school soon), I’m going to blog about the 5k in my next post :).

How was your weekend?

Bible verse of the day: Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Romans 12:1

Randoms!

Today is the 10th anniversary of 9-11. Let’s all take a moment to remember. I thought this scripture was very fitting:

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2

I feel as if anything I talk about in this post would be worthless because of today’s date. So i’m going to be wordless (mostly!) and post some pictures 🙂

(50 cents! ^)

That is all I have for today. I might try to run after church. I’ll probably tweet about it.. especially if it is a disaster :p.

I promise my next post will be a foodie post… I have a TON of pictures!

Random question: What is your favorite thing about fall? (I like anything having to do with pumpkins, festivals, and fall clothing!)
