Dakota is nine months old! She has developed so much between eight and nine months. She really feels like a little person with a distinct personality.

Here’s how Dakota is living her best baby life at nine months.

Growth 14 pounds 10.5 oz (4th %), 27 inches (26th %), and 43.2 cm head (32nd %).

Wearing 6 and 9 month clothes and size 2 diapers.

Personality Content, sweet, and a little bit serious!

Eating Mom’s milk and anything and everything she can get her hands on!

Nicknames Koko, Dak, Kota, Kota Bear, Kota B, and Koke.

Sleeping Decently! She goes to bed around 7:00 pm and wakes up for the day anytime between 6:00-7:00 am. She takes two naps a day (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) for about an hour or two.

Looks like Her big brother and mama! She has blonde/strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin.

New Skills Pulling on things to stand. She loves to do this in the bathtub and it scares me every time! She is crawling at about 50 mph, feeding herself food, and waving. She still does a “scoot” crawl on her bum and wanders around the house like that while holding random things she finds. She always sneaks her foot up onto the table when she’s eating, too!

Likes Eating solid food, crawling, music, bath time, being held, the vacuum cleaner, and playing with her siblings.

Dislikes Sitting still! She is especially hard to change because she instantly does a torpedo roll when I set her on her changing table 😂. She’s not a big fan of me walking away from her, either.

Favorite Products On-the-go changing mat, booster seat with tray, Bamba peanut butter puffs, rice rusks, and puffs.

Notes At Dakota’s nine month check-up, she had a routine test of her hemoglobin and we found out she’s anemic. For now, her pediatrician was okay with us just increasing iron-rich foods and rechecking her hemoglobin at her 12-month check up.
