Happy five months to Dakota!

She has been growing and developing by leaps and bounds lately and it’s so neat to see! Here’s how Dakota is living her best baby life at five months 😊

Growth 12.8 lbs and 24 inches.

Wearing 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers.

Eating Mom’s milk and we’ve given her baby food a couple of times!

Personality Chill, content, and maybe a bit spunky!?

Nicknames Kota, Kota Bear, Dak, Kota B, Dakota Kubota.

Sleeping She goes to bed around 7:30-8:00pm and wakes up sometimes between midnight and 2:00 am to eat. After that, she cluster feeds on and off until 5:00 am when I get up for the day. She takes around three naps a day anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or two.

Looks like Her big brother! She has light skin, blue eyes, and we’re not sure about her hair: it’s either light brownish/red or dark blonde.

New skills Rolling over, putting her feet in her mouth, sitting up in her baby seat, laughing, “jumping” on her back by kicking her feet down and lifting her butt 😂

Likes Her brother and sister, being held facing out, moving, sucking her fingers, bath time, and bouncers.

Dislikes Being overly tired and not being able to crawl yet. She wants to be on the move so badly!

Favorite products Baby memory book, floor seat, stain remover spray, foldable bath, sleep suit, and sensory toy.

Other notes She laughed so hard recently when Sadie was jumping on her stomp rocket. How random is that?! It was the cutest thing to hear her giggle. You can watch it here. She still has her hemangioma on her eyelid but it seems to be stable for now 🙏🏻

That’s everything for Dakota at five months. She is a joy and we feel so blessed God put her in our family! I can’t wait to see what next month brings with Kota bear 🐻😊
