We made pull apart pizza bread one night this week!
It has the same concept as monkey bread, except it’s savory! Sadie and I cut up a can of biscuits into pieces and coated them in olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and sliced pepperoni. We baked it for about 15 minutes and then served it with pizza sauce for dipping!
The best part? I didn’t have to cut up slices of pizza for Mordecai! It was a fun, easy, and quick weeknight dinner.
Want to know how I know Sadie is living her best life? If our kitchen table is covered in craft supplies then I know she’s one happy girl. I have a bin of craft supplies I keep up high (basically away from Mordecai, lol) and I pulled it down and the kids had a field day with it.
“I love this! This is my favorite!” were some of the things Sadie could be heard saying as she glued googly eyes to pom poms and feathers. She likes a good project, but she loves to freestyle.
It was messy and there were sequins all over the floor. Mordecai fell off our kitchen chair while trying to put a pom pom in a bowl of soup. It was a lot to clean up… but those moments are the best. I hope the kids will remember getting the house messy with mom and being allowed to have fun and be creative!
Guess what I picked up at Target when I was out with the kids? Nespresso Starbucks Holiday Blend coffee. Yum!
It definitely has herbal notes and I definitely love it. Speaking of the holidays… I saw something online that said “ten Saturdays until Christmas” and I was like wait… what! I’m excited, though! So excited I got the kids matching Christmas pajamas already 😉
Hi from Mordecai who clearly needs a haircut! I am still not used to how often boys need their haircut versus girls! I just went for a haircut this week, and the last time I went before that was in May, so five months ago. I think Mordecai needs a trim every five weeks, lol.
It has been nice having beautiful fall weather lately. Sunshine, cool temperatures, and as much time spent outside as possible!
It’s Friday night as I type up this post. We had a pretty chill evening. We went for a walk so Sadie could practice riding her scooter. Tomorrow I have an ultrasound and that’s all that’s on the agenda for us! I love a relaxed weekend 🙂

The pizza bites oook good! The fall weather is so nice! Thanks for sharing love all the pictures!
Love 💕 You!
Dad
🙂
Thank you and thanks for always reading! Love you!
Wahooo Holiday Blend! I’m for sure getting a bag of Christmas Blend this year. I can’t wait.
What I would give to dive head first into that bowl of pull apart pizza bites. I’d swim in the pillowy goodness of the dough. 🤣
I think M’s hair looks cute! I get it though, even with having short hair as a woman I try to push it at least 5 months before a cut. Meanwhile Duncan goes much more frequent. But he pushes it too. 🤣
It’s so good!!
The pizza bites were so fun and easy! I wonder if they make GF biscuits you could try?!
So funny with trying to push it with haircuts! Yours always looks so good!
that pull apart pizza recipe is such a great idea for kids — being able to take part in making it, and eating it 🤓
I will agree, you and Sadie love crafting, and you have a ton of cool supplies that make it so much fun for her (and mama). I can just see Decky with that Pom Pom now 🧐 his personality is so amazing and enjoyable 🥰
love you,
madre
YES! The goal was definitely achieved and it was so easy!
It’s truly so much fun to craft with Sadie girl! I wish I had a video of Deck with that pom pom, LOL!
Love you!
