Yes, you read correctly, I’m an actress this week. LOL. My church has Vacation Bible School for one week each summer and so many fun things go on! Kids learn about God, play outside, eat snacks, make crafts, and watch Biblical lessons acted out.
Guess who acts out these lessons…Hannah, a boy from our church, and me! Here’s a shot from last night:

I typically teach Spinning at night, so I had to call off for this whole week. I’m only teaching one class tomorrow morning. I hope I’m able to teach because today I’m going to the foot doctor to get an ingrown toenail removed. Ugh. I need prayers!!
*
Also, I think I forgot to mention that Hannah and I ran a 5k a few weeks back. We both got best times! Hannah was first in her age group and I placed 2nd overall for women. Not too shabby! I was most happy about the post-race snacks.

Have you ever had an ingrown toenail?!
How is your summer going?

Watermelon at the end of a race is so ideal. Good luck with the removal, I have never had one! Prayers your way!
I’ve never had an ingrown toenail but it sounds quite painful! Love the pic of you helping out at VBS, I did that for a few years in high school and college, it was always eventful!
Ouch about the toenail, but hooray for post race watermelon!! I’ll be praying that toe doesn’t cause any more mischief 😉
Oh my goodness, VBS brings back so many fun memories! That was always one of my favorite weeks of summer vacation!
Ouch–I’m praying that your doctor appt goes okay! That sounds super painful.
Thanks for texting me and for the prayers!
Aww, VBS is good stuff! I’m sure you’re a great actress, girl! And yes, I have unfortunately had a horrible track record with ingrown toenails… no fun at all! I hope it goes smoothly for you!
I must hear about your track record!! Feel free to email me LOL! 🙂
You’re amazing, all of the extra work you do! Congrats on the PR! Summer is going so fast for me!
Also, zig-zagging calories is when you have like 3 days of “low calories” like 1600 for me and then two or three “high calorie” days of like 2000, again for me!
Thats really interesting!!!
Awesome job on the race!!! I hope VBS is going well 🙂
Yowch, no ingrown toenails here, although I regularly lose toenails thanks to overall clumsiness and regularly dropping things on my toes. I am about to lose half of a big toenail, it’s barely hanging on there. Lovely, right? Anyway, good luck with the removal, and have fun living out some Hollywood dreams ;D
ooooooooooooo ingrown toe nail sounds awful! though i may have had one before…is it weird that I don’t even know?!? I’ve had lots of foot issues from skating… blood , calloused, bruised, swollen, blistered feet were a regular occurance!
You are so speedy! That watermelon is the perfect post-race snack in t he summer. I’d rather have that than a banana any day!
What a fun job for the week!
I’ve never had a toenail get so bad I had to have the dr. take it out, but I have butchered a few ingrowns myself and had a few toenails fall off from running!
fun!!! and that watermelon is almost making me drool…..
good luck getting the ingrown toenail out!!
