So.. today I was thinking! Baking and cooking is all in the cookware. Every time I buy new cooking utensils and create or cook/bake a recipe, I always feel better about it when I am using the right utensils! What is on my ‘Christmas cookware list’ this year?!
Why, an immersion blender, of course 😉
After checking out this blender on www.cooking.com I realized you can use an immersion blender to make smoothies! What am I really into using this for though??
SOUP!
Mostly my butternut squash soup which is extremely hard to mash in a traditional blender because it is simmering when it needs to be blended… if I had a handy dandy hand blender then I wouldn’t get burned next time I make my favorite soup 🙂 yaay!!
I think I could spend hours and hours looking through and buying cookware! Having new plus updated tools and utensils makes the whole experience of cooking and baking so much more enjoyable. I just bought new soup spoons the other week and recently I’ve made soup… like every single day. Probably because of the new spoons I have been so excited to use 😉
What is on your cooking or baking wishlist this year?
Ah, I can’t believe today is already Monday but everybody I know has been in such good spirits because of a shorter week this week! It feels amazing to have a break and just be thankful for everything plus spend time with family! Oh yeah, and all of the yummy food during the holiday season-whoop whoop!!! I’d have to say I love stuffing, it’s so classic and delicious. Or pumpkin pie with whipped cream and a mug of coffee<333
What are you making and or eating for Thanksgiving?
I’m going to be having SEAFOOD for Thanksgiving; crazy, I know!

Oh! I’ve never heard of an immersion blender until now but it looks handy and now.. now I want one. I have SO many things that I want! Such as an icecream maker. That’s definitely the next thing on my list. I also want a new blender since our “new” one is shit. I actually have to SHAKE it to make it blend. -.-

i received an immersion blender a long time ago from my mom. in one of my many moves since then, i lost it. i also lost my waffle maker. sigh.

I love getting kitchen tools and you are right, they make the experience better. However, there is a point at which your cupboards become so cluttered that getting everything out is a pain in the butt. It’s a balance. We have an immersion blender and use it every once in a while for soups.
