The past seven months with Dakota have flown by in a blur of joy, sweet smiles, and snuggles. Our whole family has loved watching her grow and thrive!

Here’s how Kota Bear is growing and living her best baby life at seven months!

Growth 13.2 lbs and 25.5 inches.

Wearing Six month clothes and size 2 diapers.

Eating Mom’s milk, baby food purees, and she loves these snack sticks. She also had frozen yogurt for the first time on Sadie’s birthday and loved it!

Personality Happy and sweet! She’s very content and pleasant. She loves watching her brother and sister all day and tries to keep up with them! Jimmy and I still haven’t made her laugh but Sadie and Mordecai do with ease. Humph!

Nicknames Ko Ko, Kota, Kota Bear, Kota B, and Dak.

Sleeping We put her to bed in her crib between 7:30-8:00 pm, she wakes up at 11:30 pm to eat (at this point, she comes into bed with us), then again between 2:00-4:00 am and then she’s up for the day at 7:30 am. She usually takes two naps—one around 10:00 am and one around 2:00 pm—that are an hour or two long. We would like to sleep train her but she shares a room with Sadie and we feel bad having her wake Sader Tot up in the night 😆

Looks like Her big brother, Mordecai! She has fair skin, blue eyes, and her hair seems to be dark blonde or red. Her hair is growing, the hemangioma on her eyelid is stable, and she gets a lot of comments on her big, wide eyes. She always looks a little shocked—do you blame her though… she lives with us 😜

New skills Sitting up all by herself, grabbing everything, standing while holding onto something stable, feeding herself snack sticks, babbling, and imitating sounds and gestures. She’s getting close to crawling, too!

Likes Being with our family, sucking her fingers, bouncers, movement, spending time outside, warm baths, eating, playing with toys, and being held.

Dislikes Being startled by loud noises and being overly tired.

Favorite products Banana toothbrush, memory book, toy phone, bumbo floor seat, washcloths, baby monitor, LeapFrog Sing and Snuggle Violet, and carseat mirror.

Other notes She took a bath in our bath tub for the first time recently and her first tooth is slowly coming in!
