Three months with our Kota Bear! She is sweet as can be and we love her so much! She is cooing and moving more and it’s so cute. We love waking up to her each day and learning who she is becoming 🤍
Here’s how she’s growing and thriving at three months.
Growth 10.5 lbs and 23 inches (we measured her at home; no doctor appointment for three months!).
Wearing 0-3 month and 3 month clothes and size 1 diapers.
Eating Mom’s milk!
Personality Chill, calm, and content.
Nicknames Dakota Kubota, Kota Bear, Kota B, Dak, and Kota.
Sleeping She goes to bed around 8:00 pm and sleeps till 2:00 am. She wakes up at 4:30 am to eat and then sleeps until 8:00 am. She does two or three naps a day. Her sleep is kind of all over the place to due to the beta blocker she is on though, so the aforementioned schedule is very loose 😉
Looks like A mix of Sadie and Mordecai!
New skills Turning her head toward toys, sucking her fingers, holding her head up better, smiling, and cooing.
Likes Our family, eating, her sleepsuit, baths, and laying on our bed.
Dislikes Tummy time, being in her carseat if the car isn’t moving, and being frightened by loud noises.
Favorite products Bouncer seat, stain remover spray, washcloths, baby memory book, body wash, unicorn toy, sink bath, car mirror, high contrast book, and baby monitor.
Other notes Dakota laughed for the first time on 5/1 in Jimmy’s arms while watching Sadie swing on our swing set which was so precious and special! She also laughed in her sleep once. Dak went through her first ear infection and cough/cold, had her first ophthalmologist appointment, first vascular anomaly appointment, and is taking a topical medication for her eyelid hemangioma. She’s a trooper!
That’s everything for our sweet Dakota girl at three months. We are looking forward to watching her grow and continue to become her own lil person as the months go on. We love you Kota Bear!

She is so sweet! Perfect fit in the Zottola family!

She really, really is! And she loves her Yaya!
Aw happy 3 months, sweet Dakota! I feel like her sleep is really good?! I loved reading all of this. I forgot I have the Marlin sleep suit somewhere and should try it with Tripp!
Thank you, Mackenzie!! I honestly can’t complain in the sleep department haha. That is definitely a blessing! And YES! Pull out that Merlin sleep suit! It’s a game changer haha. I hope Tripp (and you! and DJ! and Quinn! and Moose!) are all doing great!
