The other day I posted about the first 6 months of 2011 for me/my blog/life and now I am going to finish the last 6 months of 2011! This year has been spectacular and I want to reflect on it so here ya go:
July 2011
I went to the Pittsburgh Zoo and Kennywood with my mom, sis, and cousin.I was injured (still from June) but ran a little bit in the heat.
I started swimming with a master’s team and went to a Pirate’s game.
I worked a lot and also started doing workouts for Seton Hill’s cross country team. I had my first 5k open water race.
Hannah got Lily!
I made a cake for Hannah’s summer pool party.
August 2011Jimmy and I went to thePittsburgh Renissance Festival and I became a dragon slayer.
I moved into(and transferred from PSU) Seton Hill a week early for cross country campand moved out 1 week later due to some issues of the school not accepting credits. I transferred back to PSU and got a tough schedule. The end of August was really stressful :(.
September 2011Lola got a walk on a beautiful trail.
Starbucks brought back the pumpkin spice latte. HUZZAH. I also went to Market District and ate a lot of yummy food.
My best friend and I went to hot yoga together. It was hot.
October 2011I admitted to my strange food obsession..
Hannah and I ran a 10 mile race with Jimmy’s uncle. Twas cold.
My church youth group had a blast at a local corn maze!
Jimmy and I went to a fall festival and he bought me some awesome gloves. Jimmy and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary at Ohio Pyle. It rained all day but we still had a nice time.
November 2011My family was out of town for Thanksgiving so I cooked dinner all by myself for Jimmy’s family. We had fun playing Twister and Just Dance 2 after dinner. My dad got stuck in a nasty tar spill accident but he was not injured, thankfully!
I made nutella-frosted brownies, worked on the weekends, and ran a lot.
December 2011All the hard work I put into school paid off with good grades. My mom and I went to an ornament exchange.
My family celebrated Christmas Eve at our church. Hannah and I sang with the youth group.
*December isn’t over though! I plan on: seeing a movie (TONIGHT!!!), going ice skating (tomorrow!!), visiting my grandparents (Thursday!), going to a youth group party (Friday), and i’m celebrating NYE with my church. Exciting times ahead.*

What a year it has been! I feel so blessed when I look back through this year. I have had so many great memories and I’m so happy that I have “met” all of my blogging friends 🙂

How has 2011 been for you?!
Awe I totally remember 99% of these things. You had such an awesome year. I love those gloves-I seriously want to get a pair for myself! 🙂
I remember when I first started reading your blog! It was around the PSU fiasco. I felt SO bad because I know how much you have to go through with moving and school administrators. I feel for ya!
You are brave for singing in front of people. Brave, brave girl!
How did I miss those mittens?? They are amazing.
I love the idea behind these posts. It’s so neat to look back, and that’s what I think is the best thing about blogging.
Love this idea! It’s so important to look back and really appreciate the life we have. We are truly blessed 🙂
P.S. That cake you made still makes me smile when I see it 🙂
My 2011 has been interesting, but good!
My year has been injury plagued, but otherwise awesome! I love this post, I think I may give it a try!
I missed so many posts when school got crazy in the summer, so it’s nice to see your highlights!! 🙂
