and wait for the LORD. Psalm 27:14

Hey there and happy Wednesday! How is everyone? I’m doing good… a bit busy with school work and trying to figure out a schedule for next semester. I kind of feel like this 24/7 ..
Crazy and with a random cat climbing behind me. Yeah, I don’t know sometimes. Crazy.
This past weekend was so relaxing and stress free therefore it has been hard to adjust back into the daily grind. But fear not, the weekend will be here soon! I had the chance to cook pumpkin soup.
Next time I am definitely using regular pumpkin instead of canned!
I made the soup before church on Sunday and totally forgot to take a picture of the finished product. Ugh! It was pretty good though and I can post the recipe if anyone would like!
Also made on Sunday: pumpkin muffins. I guess I’ve been in a pumpkin mood?
I thought i’d also share this lovely photo of a trail I take my pup, Lola, on from time to time. It amazes me at the difference between summer and fall! When I took Lola most recently, the trees were almost see through, I can’t wait to see the trail with snow soon enough!

Wednesday is another long day on campus for me which means i’ll be tweeting a lot all day 😉 (i’m @heypbj)
Have a great day!

Those muffins look AMAZING! And that picture of you and the cat… LOL. I feel like that perfectly describes my life as well. Fall looks nice there. We don’t have leaves changing color or falling. 😦
I love pumpkin soup! Does yours use ginger?
The trail looks like a really nice run 🙂
It does use ginger!
So much pumpkins wherever I look 🙂 Survive your long day on campus!
I would love the recipe!
my weekend was the same way; super hard to get back into the same old same old…but i’m looking forward to another weekend coming up soon! 😉
hope that all goes well with figuring out your schedule for next semester…
Muffins!!! Yummy 🙂 care to come be my personal pumpkin chef?
i’m loving that trail too! what a great way to BREAK from school. Is lola joining you? Praying for you and some rest.
xxoo
Eek, scheduling can be so stressful. Thankfully we know this and we also know it passes. You will make it through dear!
Getting in the fall spirit is a great way to de-stress. I love Pittsburgh this time of year and I miss it!
Thank you for the awesome email 🙂
Pumpkin Soup! What else was in it.. I want to make some!!!
I will be sure to post the recipe!
The muffin looks tasty and the soup sounds good even if you don’t have a pic :). Feel free to post any and all pumpkin recipes bc I really love pumpkin!
Hope your long day at campus goes well!
I shall post the recipe soon!!
Isn’t it funny how much better pumpkin is fresh? Not that the can is bad, it’s just not as… fresh… 🙂
I’ve never added apple to my pumpkin soup. I always put it in my butternut squash soup. Next time I’l try it out – thanks!
Loveee that cat picture! Cats are so funny! I just got a text from my roommate that my cat just pulled the hamster’s cage down and all of the bedding went everywhere…can’t wait to see what kind of a mess I have on my hands when I return!
i wrote down your pie crust recipe, so i hope to use it soon!! also- LOVE CLIMBING CATS!! kitties can be so silly!!! ❤
yay for delicious, moist pumpkin muffins! yours look delish!
BAHAHA THAT CAT! XD I had to double take a few times at that..
I have never had pumpkin soup! I need to get on that stat…
You just made me crave pumpkin soup like it’s my job. That seems so warm and lovely. Anyways. Hope you get a little free time soon! 🙂
It certainly is pumpkin season! I’ve never made pumpkin soup…was yours sweet or salty?
It was spiced more than sweet/salty… I put a lot of cinnamon in it 🙂
I wish I was a pumpkin fan because there are so many great recipes out there! That trail looks absolutely gorgeous – nothing like running through some great scenery! 🙂
Hahahaha your cat is hilarious. I love it!!! I need to make some pumpkin muffins soon!!
Oh my gosh…I didn’t even see that cat at first. And then I did. And then I laughed way more than is appropriate for a person who is theoretically “working.”
