Seton Hill

Why did I choose Seton?

*I want to be a published author and they have a creative writing major. Unfortunately, OVU didn’t have that. They had an English major and their best programs at the school were Education and Biblical Studies.. not exactly what I am majoring in.

As much as I wanted to choose a school that focused on my  faith, I can’t comprimise the major that I want. I know I would have loved OVU for the next 3 years, but for the rest of my life I wouldn’t have a degree that I wanted/needed.

So that is what it came down to. I could have picked OVU for all the ‘wrong’ reasons, but I had to think about why I am going to college.. duh! For an education so I can get a job.

What goes along with Seton Hill?

*I will be 20-30 minutes from home.

*Free Mac & Ipad (I wish I knew how to use Mac’s!!)

*I’m going to be running year round. [CC, indoor, & outdoor track]

*More expensive tuition, but if I excel in running, I get a larger scholarship next year!

*A new and challenging school.

*Only one of my classes doesn’t transfer so I have to look into taking a class online this summer. LOL.

*I’ll be living in dorms or an apartment. (I want Lola to be with me waaaaa)

*The chance to travel abroad during the year or in the summer.

That is all I can think of for now and this post is uber long. I will be sharing my 5k success in my next post and a special gift I got from a blogging bff<33333333
