Bible verse of the day

Foodie post

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12:1

Hey there! Kennywood was so much fun yesterday. Seriously, my cheeks hurt from laughing so much! I got soaked on a water ride, won a game, and enjoyed the whole day-I totally fell asleep on the car ride home at like 11:00PM haha

The Steelers flag was my prize for the game I won… the worker had to guess my age and if they were 3 years off, then you win a prize. The worker guessed I was 15 … i’m 19 bahaha.

I honestly feel like it has been FOREVER since I have posted foodie pictures

Other news: I swam with the masters group this morning again and I loved it again. I think I hurt my heel at Kennywood from walking in flip flops… oops, so I think running will be out of the question for a few days if it heals (or should I say heels haha…).

It is no biggie to not run for a few days because I am busy- going to the zoo tomorrow and Niagara Falls this weekend 🙂

Have a GREAT day!!

Yesterday I ordered my training shoe for cross country! My coach sent out the 2011 Fall Puma catalog and let each of us pick what ever shoe we wanted! Here is my choice:

I’m pretty nervous about ordering a brand I have never ran in (Does anyone in the blog world use Puma’s as running shoes..? I usually wear Saucony or New Balance) Also I have never tried these shoes on and I know Puma’s sizes run a bit different soo we’ll see how that all goes hahaha.

*******

Another cross country note- I asked you all if you wanted to see the weekly training schedule that gets emailed to all of the runners that i’m totally not following at the moment haha. Nobody said no so I decided to post it. I hope this isn’t illegal in the college cross country world… lol.

So there you have it. That is what i’m supposed to be doing. If you follow me on Daily Mile you know very well that I’m not running every day and not even those amounts of miles. That schedule is a bit tough and I prefer not to run (or even exercise) 7 days a week. I know when I go to training camp and start cross country for real i’ll have to exercise 7 days a week ...poop. I love my rest day(s).

How many days a week do you exercise?

What do you think of Puma running shoes?
