Hannah’s 14th birthday was splendid! Our family + Jimmy + Hannah’s boyfriend all went to the Pittsburgh Pirates game on Friday. Some photos….

As you can see from the pictures, everyone was dressed in hoodies and jeans due to the 60* weather. Last I checked, it’s August. What’s up with that?
Which leads me to my next post.
The weather stayed chilly (like 60*) for the open water swim I competed in Saturday morning.

OMG I give you SO much credit for doing that open water swim!!! I would be hesitant to do that on a normal day…but one that was abnormally chilly?! No way! You are a rockstar!!!

Way to go on your swim! That is super cold to be swimming (now 60 is great weather for running… wish it was 60 here in the mornings, that would be awesome, but it’s more like 80… anyway).
It looks like Hannah had a great birthday and everyone had fun at the game. I think the cake looks delicious and she got some cool presents. Plus it matter more how the cookie cake tastes anyway (btw cookie cake is my fave too, I would rather have that than an actual cake).
