Christmas eats

Hey there! How is everyone doing during this interesting week between Christmas and the New Year? I feel so weird! A lot of people are back to work and some are still on break. I’m trying to find a balance between normal life and winter break. I’ve been staying up late and sleeping in but still trying to keep my room clean and walk Lola daily. Balance ;).

I wanted to share some eats from Christmas…

chocolate coconut pie

chocolate peanut butter balls

pumpkin pieI guess it burned a little… it tasted good anyways!

blueberry muffin?

No… that is a candle I got my mom for Christmas! I wish I could eat it.

turkey dinner

Also included: mashed potatoes, broccoli, and gravy.

After Christmas eats:

Spoonfuls of peanut butter. Obviously.

Pumpkin pie and hot cocoa with whipped cream

Turkey sandwich. One of the best things about holiday dinners = all the left over food!

What did you eat on Christmas?!

  1. OMG that’s really a candle?!?! It looks just like a blueberry muffin! I didn’t even get that that’s what you were saying the first two times I read that sentence because I was like “She can’t eat the muffin because of the candle in it?!” LOL! Super cute. Bet it smells amazing!

  2. All of those candles make you want to take a huge bite out of them! I was at a coffee shop and they sold all of these indulgent candles. A woman and I were about to grab a fork and try one. Lol, they smelled SO good!

PS. Your coconut pie looks really good!

  3. What a cool candle in the shape of a muffin! That’s awesome!

We had 7 dishes of fish on Christmas Eve (Polish and Italian tradition) and then ham on Christmas day! I love left over ham!

  4. It all looks good! You always post about such tasty pies–I can’t remember the last time I made a pie, but now I want to! Pumpkin, of course. I acknowledge no other pie. I had no pie on Christmas, but I DID eat enough stuffing for three people, so it’s all good 🙂

  5. My parents are both originally from the UK so we do the holidays the british way! On Christmas Day, we have Turkey, Green Bean Casserole, Rolls, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Carrot Casserole, Cranberry Salad, Corn, and Broccoli. Then for Dessert we have Christmas Pudding. On Boxing Day (the day after Christmas) we have Ham, Rolls, Roasted Potatoes, gravy, Pineapple Bread Pudding, green beans, broccoli, and apple pie for dessert with devon custard! 😀

  6. looks like lots of good eats!
i agree, the transition between christmas and new year’s is weird; i worked a half week today, so i think that is a good compromise. 🙂
