Such busy times!

Hey everyone! Sorry I am here and there with blogging but I promise I am stalking you all still and trying to comment as much as time permits!

*******

Cross country camp has been going well! I did some laundry yesterday…

Practice wasn’t too bad. We ran 4 miles and the morning and did 6x600m intervals at 4PM.

I then proceeded to drive home and head to an event at my high school.

I went from this:

SWEATY/NASTY

Ice on my knee while driving (don’t know if that is legal?..)

TO THIS (picture below) … all in 20 minutes!

Cray cray.

I slept over my house for the night and left by 7:30AM to be at practice by 9AM to run 7 miles. I walked up to my dorm and what do you know I was locked out! I had to get let into my building and then try to get my card fixed before practice. The residence life staff could fix my card. Cool! So I went to practice and look who came to my campus:

Mom!!! She met me after my 9AM practice (7 miles) to go out to lunch (YAYAYAY) and stop at Walmart before my 4PM practice (lifting)

First iced latte in SO long…. ahhh I missed em!

Needless to say it has been a BUSY day. I can’t imagine how busy I will be when classes start :/ blehhh!! I have a 7PM meeting with the team and then movie night at a friends dorm! Whoop whoop!!

  1. Daaanng cray cray is right! But you sure can make a rapid gorgeous transformation, love the dress!
Even with an illegal ice pack commute (so funny), it looks like you’re dealing with stress really well! 😀

  2. Woohoo awesome job going from sweaty to cute in just 20 minutes :). That’s how you know you’re a runner when you learn how to do that, probably a very useful skill to have when you have class after practices too.

How nice of your mom to meet you at campus and take you out for iced coffee and lunch and walmart :). Glad your practices are going well too!

  3. I’m so enjoying your college posts, because it brings back so many memories! 🙂 College life is busy and crazy, but it’s also so much fun and filled with so many amazing memories. Enjoy every moment!

  4. Your dress is so so so so so soooo cute. OH MY GOD. I’m coming over, we are making pancakes and I’m stealing it. Dealing with athletics+school=schedule to the max. I always schedule everything during the school year, including dinner and lunch dates. It works out so much better that way.

  5. I love that dress! Sometimes life gets overwhelming. i used to blog a ton, but I have definitly slowed down. It was getting too much. ENJOY SCHOOL

  6. STUDY ON THE BUS! 🙂 And you can ask for extensions on papers or outside of class meetings with professors if you miss class.
Oh, and don’t party too hard, my teammates were always really tired haha

    xoxo Ellie
