Some college updates
Housing: The woman in charge of the dorms literally kicked me out of the room I was supposed to be in because some senior girls wanted it or something. (I was supposed to be in a suite with 5 other girls and my bedroom was a double with another girl) This was a blessing in disguise because now I’m in another dorm in another suite with 5 other girls BUT I get a single room! Woot woot!

Books: I ordered all of my books and one is on its way right now.
Cray cray amount of books..

Schedule: Holla for no classes on Friday and no math/science/history classes this semester! (If you’re wondering why: i’m an English major)
None of my classes start very early and none end too late. This is probably too good to be true haha. I was also checking how many people were in each of my classes and a few only have 10 people and some have around 35. I love small classes!

Athletics: I move in on Sunday August 14th and spend one week on campus with the cross country team for training camp. I’ll let you all know more about training camp when I know more about it haha.

Um. I’m super jealous of your schedule. I will forever be having friday classes and great hours of like 3pm ha. It stinks blerg. Um anywho. You’ll love a single room in a suite. I had one my sophomore year and it was by far my favorite.

I’m jealous of your schedule and I’ve been out of college for 4 years! You don’t have early classes at all (I always had classes at 8:30 and 9:30!) and none of your classes are at night either (had some of those myself). Glad you got a single room too after the lady basically moved you to a new dorm. I’m kinda surprised they did that though because normally the athletes always live together? But I guess it’s all good, if you have a single room it probably doesn’t matter much anyway, you get your own space.

Great schedule! And having a single room is what keeps me sane at college… I am RA which guarantees me a single… Me living with other people in a teeny tiny space= no bueno.

Glad everything is going good with your college situation. I cannot wait to hear more about your cross country training/team/practice. I start practice for my high school cross country team next Monday and I am beyond excited. Cross country is my absolute favorite sport! ❤
Yay! Glad things are coming together for you. And single rooms are where it’s at! Actually I wouldn’t know, this year will be the first but I’m looking forward to it. It sounds like you are mega busy like me right now but maybe we can have a blogger meet up over holiday breaks.

Those are pretty good updates 🙂 I definitely don’t miss a lot of things about traditional college life and living with others is one of them. In fact, being in apartment now with two other people just about drives me crazy. 🙂

You are super lucky to have a single bedroom! I think I would have done anything for a single bedroom my freshman year after finding out how strange (in a bad way) my roommate was!!!
totally sweet that you have your own room now. i wish i got that lucky!! And that is so awesome that you don’t have classes on friday! My friday is actually going to be my busiest day (school wise) of the week. I’m not exactly thrilled about that but it’s the only way it would fit in my schedule. Oh well, gotta work with what you got! Good luck with everything!

I have to buy my books soon and I’m not looking forward to it. I only have 3 classes this term and it will be about $300 for used books! Ridiculous. They should just give them to me for free.

Single room yet with other people nearby? That is AWESOME!!! and fridays off. LUCKY! I had a single room in University. at first I was freaking out becauser on day one everyone paired off with their roomie and I was alone,,,, after 2 hours I had tons of friends
I got SO lucky with rooming this year. I applied in July… yes, July! And I got a single room, with a private bathroom! Heaven on freakin’ earth. It seems like we both really lucked out.
