10 Reasons why I want to have kids

Yup, I am going there and i’m only 18 muahha! I am one of those freaks who thinks about babies when they are under the age of 25. I don’t plan on having kids any time soon, AT ALL. I just thought this post would be cute 🙂

(This is Hank ^ from my church!)

1. To take care of a little buddy, raise them, and love them unconditionally, and receive that love right back!

2. A baby = a mini me + Jimmy

3. A baby makes you selfless. Hello no sleep, spit up all over me, and no shower in 3 days. The world does not revolve around me and my desires.

4. I get to read all of my favorite childhood books all over again!!!

5. Motherhood is a job, one of the toughest ones out there. Thank you mommy 🙂

6. Two words: Play. Time.

7. A couple becomes a family

8. Watching a child grow into a caring, sensitive human is a reward that cannot be measured in book sales.

9. Baby toes and little rolls of chub chub 🙂

10. Bible verse of the day: Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord,

  2. well, let me see… yes, I do have children (3 to be exact) and you are one of them! ha! I have to say being a mom is the best decision I have ever made in my life (along with marrying Dad and being baptized into Christ!!). I have the 3 most beautiful, awesome, gracious, kind and caring children on the face of this Earth! I love you Alexandra Kristine, thank you for always being true to yourself, and to God!

  3. I have always wanted to adopt – if I ever want kids. Im sure my life will get lonely and a lot of mom things do sound really fun! Going to soccer games and bringing snacks, helping in their classroom, riding bikes to the park. Kind of get to relive my own childhood.

    And I have to say once more how much I absolutely LOVE your hair. I want it. 😉

    1. You can have my hair.. it annoys me a lot haha!! Adoption is pretty cool as well 🙂 I think you would make an awesome mom cause you are so understanding and you seem super fun!!

  4. I was just like you when I was 18….well actually I thought about babies since I can remember! That was my goal is to become a mommy one day. However, even though I couldn’t wait to be a mommy….I am glad I was 27 before my first. I babysat so much and thought I was more than ready to be a mama. Oh boy, my first opened my eyes!! Even though it definitely is the best feeling to be a mommy, it is a lot of hard work! And you are right, you have to be selfless and no sleep is definitely a thing for awhile (my lil girl is 19 months and I was up with her most of last night because she is sick). Those babies you are holding are sure adorable!!!

  8. Yessss! I definitely want kids one day! Two will be enough for me though. 🙂 It’ll be awhile though.. I kind of want them before 30 but now I’m thinking I won’t have my first until I’m IN my 30s. *sigh* I guess that’s alright.

  9. Oh my gosh that baby under #9 is straight up adorbs!!! You seem like you’d be a fab mother! I really can’t wait to have kids too- I want 4 🙂 3 boys and a girl! My family is pretty big and I’ve always wanted a big fam.
