Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies on black plate

Ingredients
1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar
1 cup (200g) sugar
1 cup (227g) salted butter, melted
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups (360g) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups (340g) chocolate chips

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and well combined.
3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until fully incorporated.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
7. Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing the cookies a couple of inches apart.
9. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers still look slightly soft. Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for 30 minutes—this helps them set and gives them the perfect texture. Enjoy!
